No Channels. HD Mini Stick 80e

    No Channels. HD Mini Stick 80e

    Neither of the ATSC or the ClearQAM2 option give any channels. I hooked up my vcr and satillite, and with both I get nothing. I get no channels, I get no AM/FM, I get nothing what so ever!. I have already spent 5 hours working on this installation. I downloaded then latest software/drivers (Currently PinnacleTVCenterPro_5.4.0.3032). Read every FAQ and support reference available without finding any help to fix this problem. This just came brand new out of the box yesterday and what a waste of money! My sales guy talked me into "upgrading" to this unit from a cheaper one I almost bought. I sure wish I had went with the "cheaper' device.

    PCTV phone support

    Seeking help from PCTV is like finding the holy grail. Good luck lol. I called the USA tech support phone number +1 631 434 - 3197, but just said I was going into queue and hung up on me. I tried this 3 times. They never responded to my email I sent them at support@pctvsystems.com .

    Kinda funny though, I pressed '0' on the phone call and got an instant answer from a guy in sales, but he just transfered me to an automated hold for technical support. All i ever get is the automated menu, sent to a techniocal support automated menu where I am told," All technical support  are busy, please hold for next available operator, in ten minutes you'll be hung up and called back.  

     

     I can't get any help for this problem!!! Can anyone help me with alternate contact information or previous experience in this area?

    I just got a technical support person on the phone!!

    This device is unable to work with my VCR, local stations, or my satilite provider. Basically it wasn't working because it doesn't do what I need inorder to capture video.

    All it can do is capture video from two very limited sources. Beware the 80e mini stick!!!

    Did support say the 80e would receive over-air and cable stations as indicated on the packaging? Mine receives nothing when connected to antenna or Comcast cable. I've installed the 5.3 software that came in the package.
