I just got my PCTV HD mini Stick USB TV Tuner and connected it to my cable from the wall. I ran the channel scan and it picks up a lot of channels, mostly HD, but not all of the cable channels that I pay for. Is there a way to get those channels (like ABC Family, Food Network, TNT, etc) through it?

Support for your hardware is now handled by PCTV Systems.  Avid sold the entire PCTV line.

yeah, i know. i saw that on the pinnacle site. but that site doesn't answer my question nor does it have a forum to get answers otherwise

OK.  Sorry. 

And as far as an answer:  There's no way to know without you telling (whoever) what modulation those cable channels you aren't getting are using.  If they're old-school NTSC (analog) channels, I *think* the answer then is "you bought the wrong tuner", because I *think* that the Mini Stick can only tune ATSC (over-the-air digital) and Clear QAM (over the wire digital), but CANNOT tune NTSC.

Only if "all digital" means Clear QAM.  If it doesn't (if it's some other modulation and/or is encrypted in any way), then no.
