    Extracting Audio

    I have Studio Plus version 10.60.3834. . .

While editing a storyline,  does anyone know if there is a way to extract and save audio only from an avi and save as an mp3 or a wav file?

    Thank You,

    Hi, welcome to the webboard.

As for your question:  Luckily enough, there is a Pinnacle FAQ that should fix you right up.

In S12, it's even easier -- you can choose to write WAV or MP3 files directly from the Make Movie screen.

(Although in S12, if you're writing MP3 files, you *may* want to be sure to add some extra "padding" to the end of your timeline, since S12 SEEMS to sometimes cut off the end of the file that it's creating...)

Also, if you have Adobe Audition, you can use it to extract the audio from a video file.
