    Exclamation Point - WHAT ??

OK, I been here a dozen (maybe 2 dozen) in the past with "No Media" but through "Verify Media" or some other method (which I can't remember) I got the media back.

PROJECT: miniDV from 2 - DVX100B's and an HVX200; 3 cameras; 55 mins each and clappered.

EDIT: Completed the multicam sync clip and edited the material switching as normal and haven't gone back to edit any more while waiting on the customers input -> time passing = a month.

PROBLEM: Ready to complete the edit now and Camera 1 and Camera 2 are missing with the "no media" "!" we all hate.  The media IS there.  I can go to the respective folder that I created through the Logging Tool and find the respective media and play it just fine.  However, when clicking the mulitsync clip 1 and 2 are "!" and 3 is good to go.  Moreover, on the timeline all of camera 1 and 2 are "red" slices and a "!" in the Master Viewer.

ATTEMPTS:  I have tried "Verifiy Imported Media" several times and get "0" clips fixed.  I have checked the other clips in the timeline multicam sequence and their paths are there.

BTW, when double clicking the red slice clips "properties", the V tab are not selectable and there is video shown including mark in mark out for the respective short cut and a clip in and clip out ponts.  However, nothing is selectable.

Now I'm lost.  Anyone have a clue what to do?  And/Or how to relink these clips?  OR . . (please don't tell me so) do I have to resync a NEW multicam sync clip and start over?  Angry

As noone seems to give you an answer to all your q:s  Doc, I will.

Liquid is NOT, I repeat NOT, certified to be used on a mac, you are on your own testing this, some things might work while some others might not.

If you have to use a mac for editing your media, I strongly recommend Media Composer or FCP.

You might open up a new mac thread in the general forum and tell us what works and what doesn´t work.

Re: Exclamation Point - WHAT ??

Whoops should have clarified, this project isn't on the Mac, this one is on the HP XW8200.  If I can just figure out how to relink the vids I'll be fine but can't figure it out.  As I say, all the video is in the respective folder I sat up in the Logging Tool; that is, I've gone to the folder and clicked the video and played it so I know the video is there, just the links are lost and doing Verify Media isn't working to relink.

The MacPro is the other post where the video in both the source viewer and master viewer goes black but plays, that is you can hear the audio.  Another person on a PC has found that to be an issue too but all that is in another post.  This post in particular is our other Liquid install which is an HP.
