If you are willing to help me, please read this entire
explanation of my dilemma and I will try to give all the info I can to help you
understand my problem. I am using S12.1
on a windows XP SP3 machine. I am having
a problem with movie clips losing sound when I make a DVD, I have added an
additional soundtrack to some of these clips and it plays just fine. I have tried to replace the clips with new
originals and change the transition before the clips. I double check the clips to make sure the
volume line is turned up. I have played
the DVD in two different DVD players and my PC, using “WinDVD” and the problem
exists on all mediums. When I experience
this problem, I make some changes to the movie and try burning it again. Sometimes the clips will work the second
time, but other clips, that had sound, will lose their sound! I have used the “chat online four different times
to solve this problem but none of their suggestions have worked. Sometimes I think they are just reading “generic”
solutions and passing them along to me without understanding the problem.
Before I burn a DVD, I:

Delete all auxiliary files and restart my
computer
·
After re-starting, I close all background
programs, using “Enditall”
·
In “Make Movie” I select “always re-code entire
movie” (as I was told by Pinnacle tech staff)
·
I use a DVD –RW disc.
Can anyone help me?
