I have just upgraded to S12 Ultimate and have installed the 12.1 patch.

When I try to write an image file (either Iso or Video_ts), it renders OK and then, just before the end of the write file, I get the message 'The export has been stopped because " is almost full (<1Mb free disk space)

Yes, that is a speech mark in the middle, with no drive specified.

I have used my own project twice and Our fun vacation twice, all with the same error.

I have deleted auxiliary files and checked always re-encode entire movie in the settings.

My C drive has 9Gb free, My J drive (where I'm trying to write the file) has 95GB free. G, H & I all have about 20Gb free.

I've searched on this forum and through the FAQs, but cannot find anything that seems relevant

Can anyone help, please?

At the moment, version 12 is unusable

Don't have an answer for you (sorry ), but I can point you at this thread and this thread for complaints that sound like a similar issue.  Maybe something there can help?

 Having looked further, I don't think there is a problem, except that S12 is pointing to the wrong message. All the others seemed to be using HD, whereas I am only using SD.

I originally burnt the project using Image Burn and a +RW and tried to play it my small TV with integrated DVD, on the grounds that if it played in there, it would play on anything. What I didn't realise was that the player didn't support +RW. It played on my other players.Re-burning useing a +R worked on all my players.

So, it looks like the file is OK, and it is purely the pointer at the end of the program is looking at the wrong message. I can live with that¬¬

Thanks for letting us know. It would have been harder to troubleshoot if you didn't know what the player supported.

I have started getting the exact same message when creating a disc image file.  I am able to burn a DVD so it must be just the wrong message.

What burning method are you using at this point? Burn in safe mode or when just making a disc image without burning?

Sometimes I get the same message as jbeckner above, so that I assume my disc image failed to create. However, when I check the folder where the disc image was destined, it is there. I then am able to use it to write to a DVD &, in many cases, the DVD works just fine in both computer & in a DVD player for the TV. It is very disconcerting to see that message, but much less disconcerting now than seeing a green preview screen or a title menu transposed over the video portion or an export error.

Thank you for the input, this will make me revisit my tests. I'll follow this up with QA and give them a heads up as well.
