Blue screen when capturing analogic signal with Dazzle (fast forwarding let me view the video!!)

What is weird is that when I capture I do have a blue screen in the top right window.  If I press fast forward on my video (keeping play mode), I can see my video fast forwarding (all the images).

When I go to edit, I can't see anything else that a blue screen video.

I have a Dazzle DVD recorder and Studio 12.

Before I was with sudio 8 and a AV/DV card.  It worked for few years but recently was noty able to get a capture video.  It stopped after like one second.  Now with the new version it continues but I have a blue screen.  That's weird!

    Thanks for helping me.

Perhaps you are having problems with the video preview. What video card are you using with computer?

Just wondering, try setting the capture format to MPEG. See if that made any difference.

How about trying to capture with no capture preview, and then  turning the preview back on. Try to turn of hardware acceleration as well if my 1st suggestion fails.
