Yes.   Now, the real question is:  What are you recording FROM?

Studio can be bundled with a variety of hardware options that allow for recording of analog and/or digital video.  So, depending upon what you're trying to record, it may work just fine -- or it may not work at all, if you're expecting Studio to "record" soemthing that it can't handle (for example, if you're expecting Studio to be able to "record" the screen of your computer--it doesn't do that).
