I want to import some jpg.s. I find the pics down this path... C:users/owner/picture   I follow that path but can't get at pictures. I've found some folders with no contents.

I just went to Pictures, filled a new folder, named it X, went to studio11 and did that path; found X, click on it... Nothing

 an EDIT addition....I have Picasa (a photo viewing program); its path is C:program files/google/picasa/picasa exe . I follow that path in the studio dropdown but get to ...........wait...........................I'll go try all that then click on the folder I want from inside picasa. Hold on...

Nope. When I hit picasa I'm seeing guts, right? certainly no folders. things like buttons, runtime, plugins etc.

I'm sure there's a simple explanation, right?

Are you sure you are in the right album ? Either click the camera icon to the left of the album, or go to the top and click Album/Photos.

If you are in the videos album, you can navigate to the location of your pictures, but they won't show up. You have to be in the photos album to see your photos. Maybe this will solve your mystery.

I appreciate the reply but you lost me . I have no idea what you are referencing. I got the path from the folder back to C:...........C:etc. till it leaves me with a blank page. (Bittman has been nursing me along for months. He'll vouch for my seeming incapacity to learn)

Take a look at my attached screenshot.  It will help you navigate to the right part of the album.  Also, take a look at this thread.

I've never dealt with any position except the top one. Didn't know they were relevant. I have excuses but...guess I'll go try

A picture is worth a thousand pages of text in the manual.
