I've been capturing video from my computer drive into Pinnacle 9+ for editing.  When I go to edit, however, there's no audio.  I experimented with a dvd made elsewhere and the program DID pick up the audio, but it's not in sync with the video.  I of course doublecheck the DVD's I'm capturing from - and they play video/audio just fine in my wmp.  I imagine I'm just got some setting in Pinnacle wrong? 

Oh, and on edit, on the third choice of editing, there's a line for video which shows with a narrow white box, and under it, a line for audio is listed.  But it has no box.  So it's not claiming to even have audio.

 How can I make the capture (from "input DVD", not from a camcorder) get the audio with the video?!  THANKS.

One thing to check is the you have the Dobly codec enabled - if the DVD has Dobly sound and you don't have the enhanced codec pack enabled then it won't import the audio.

Don't think that this is the full explaination, though...

I will double check that and thanks very much for responding.  When I first used this program a year ago, it uploaded a DVD with video and audio and they were in sync.  The fact that it doesn't do that now makes me think I accidentally changed a setting.  I just don't know!
