    Audio Artifacting at any resolution

    Hi.

I have done numerous recordings with the Video Transfer now, and am very disappointed at the audio artifacting that is present at any resolution.  The tech specs say that audio is recorded at 192kbs on the highest quality setting, however there is no way what I am hearing could be that high.  I have a lot of audio recording experience and have excellent professional grade rca connectors running to the device.  I have also tried numerous different audio input sources and there is no change.  Do you have any recommendations for me?  The idea of the video transfer is a great one, however I believe that in it's simplicity is has really over-looked some crucial features.  I understand how "easy" the unit is supposed to be, but I believe not allowing uncompressed audio and video through was a giant mistake.  These days with the ridiculous amount of storage available to users at cheap prices, this clearly should have been anticipated.

    Hoping for a reply,

    Tim
