Party!!! [<:o)] Adding an image to a post

A new function was enabled to the English Studio forum for all registered users, to add one image to the post. The image will be hosted to our server.

    How to do it

    • Click on Reply to open the Edit window
    • Click on Options
    • Click on Add/Update
    • Check the File upload option an dclick on Browse to select the file from your HD - Save
    • Post the message.

What kind of pictures to be used:

    • resolution: width: 200 - Height: 320
    • format: jpg;bmp;pcx;png;pic
    • If the resolution is higher, the picture will be downsized in the post. But a click on it will show the picture in a larger window.
    • We strongly recommend you using a COMPRESSED format (as JPEG)

    Some basic but important rules

    • Posts with offensive pictures will be immediateley deleted. If the same user is doing more than once, his account will be moderated. Moderators will be very strict.
    • Adding pictures to a forum is creating lot more traffic volume and one risk is to slow down the server. So please only use this functionnality to add, for example, a screenshot of a problem or even of a solution... Smile. That's a utility and not a game. If too many bitmaps are posted with an effect on the bandwidth, we will have to disable this functionnality, without notification.

    What's about other forums

    • We will progressively extend the same functionnality to other forums and we will add notifications there.

    Enjoy!
