Contrary to many of my fellow forum members, I'm actually finding that this software mostly works as advertised. However after initially working, I've not been able to get the remote control to work again. It doesn't work in the tests either. I've reinstalled the software, the drivers, old versions of the software, TVCentre as well as MediaCentre ... but it won't work.
I've tested the batteries, and I've ensured the receiver is plugged in. I don't know how to tell if the actual remote is working independently of the IR receiver though (any ideas?).
Is there available as a download somewhere software just for the remote control? I've got the remote control that is second from the left in the TVCentre setup screen, and it runs a system tray icon that is bright yellow, and is apparently version 2.5.2420.30403.
I'm running WinXP sp3 on a Intel core2duo 2.13GHz, 4Gb DDR2 RAM, with a PCIe Dual Hybrid Pro (3010x)
