I bought the Pinnacle Video Capture for Mac (which is Blue instead of the advertised silver one), off of Pinnaclesys.com - now I was quite happy when I received it. I now went on and tried it out with my PS3 to capture some stuff.
The first blow was how horrible Soul Calibur IV looked on composite, but as long as I can capture via direct feed it should be fine. I have a 42" 16:9 HD TV, and ALL my stuff plays in 16:9, PS3, Wii, Macbook, or whatever else I connect to that TV.
For some reason I can't find an option to capture in 16:9 with Pinnacle Video Capture for Mac (or Dazzle as it says on the device itself). Can I even record in 16:9, well it would be a bit weak if it doesn't given that I paid incl. shipping a good £70 for the device.
Any help? Or any software for Mac that does a better job with this device?
