Hmm [^o)] Water seems to be flooding my PCTVP audio

I can't really find the cause of it.... some how, sometime, while watching TV and surfing the Net, etc... the PCTVP audio start to be "flooded" with water; the audio sound like someone talking underwater.

And it has an extremely simple and only way to turn off this special effect, exit and start PCTVP. How to turn it on? No manual button or method, PCTVP has A.I. feature, it will know when you are dull and would try to amuse you by turning on the bubbles audio special feature... just to make you happy. Devil

After so much limitations found in PCTVP, I finally found a hidden special feature in PCTVP. Sleep This hidden special feature can never be found in my 5 yrs-old VGA-TV cards, may be it is too old to have such wonderful feature. Sad

Do you have a program like SoundManager in Control Panel? You can set the audio quality on there and disable all effects.

Also, open PCTV settings and then go to Audio tab and set the defaults to your sound card.

Firstly I would like to thank you for your reply. When I set it to 'default' under 'Audio Output Device', it seems to work... so far. But... I would like to highlight that there is no such setting as 'Default Sound Card', what was listed is 'Default DirectSound Device'. Wink

Ok. My problem is only more than half solved, the bubbling sound still there, but now, it's on and off, being off most of the time. Sad

Look for a program sound effect manager in control panel, tell me if you see one.

Then post your complete PC specifications and tell us the model of your PCTV Tuner.

Update your sound card driver and test again.

    Keep us posted.
