How to configure a Xena LHe in Chrome Xe ?

    Hi all,

this is probably a stupid question, but summertime helping, i hope you'll forgive me :)

So, I juste received my speakers and monitor to plug on my Xena LHe. I set the cable (audio in XLR and Video in SDI). When i test the system with the 'Machina' software, using the test clips provided with the Xena driver, everything works fine.
But once i'm in Liquid, ... no output ! This is probably in the configuration settings, but despite many tries, i've been unable to find the correct settings...

Many Thanks, and a big hi from sunny-crowed-with-tourists-France ^^

    Hi,

you have to set the Chrome Xe output in the monitor icon botton rigth corner to Chrome Xe Output.

I think that Chrome Xe doen´t work properly if you install Xena drivers and machina software.

You can install Xena drivers and Machina software. It works without any problems. If you use AfterEffects, you'll get a preview on the external monitor. Works great for me :-)

BTW / from Liquid Chrome Xe Version 7.2 Readme /:

"Chrome Xe: violent audio noise on system power-up
Please keep the volume of your audio monitor low (or turned off) while the Chrome Xe system is being started. During driver initialisation heavy bursts of audio at the AJA hardware outputs can occur that may inflict damage on speakers."
