it doesn't make any sense to me because i used the same flash drive (sandisk usb 2 gb micro) about 2 months ago and it worked. then, a week ago i stuck it in the press & go, it didn't light up, i stuck it in my computer and the drive never showed up. it died. i figured, hey maybe it's cuz the flash drive is old. i tried my brother's because i thought maybe it was my computer, it fried that one. then i bought another brand new one, and it fried that one. i do exactly as the video says, stick the usb drive into it, then plug it in and turn on. i put the .bin update on the last one i tried but it still went dead from the press & go. also, it seems as though the led lights aren't going on as they should. it never responds to the a/v cables being plugged in. i'm getting really pissed. what's wrong?

are you using the power supply that came with the unit?

Is it possible that unit was damaged from an electrical storm?

 

it is possible that the power supply is not the one that came with the unit. but would that really affect it that much? even if it is the same voltage?
