I had such good luck with my last question, I'll press my luck. I bought a Behringer BCF-2000 MIDI fader control hoping that it would provide a real-world interface for the audio faders instead of a mouse. I've never gotten that to work. Did I misunderstand what the capabilities are relative to Liquid Xe? Is it only useful for adjusting levels on capture and playback or something?

I have not used the Behringer but in general the Midi device has to have in and out connected to the PC and assigned in the Liquid control pannel. once properly working it works like Flying faders in a DAW, and yes it really does help and speed up the mixing process, IMO.

Sorry to respond so late, on vacation. So, if the Behringer's functionality is identical to say, a JLCooper, then I should be able to assign faders to  tracks and adjust levels in an editing session? I confess I don't completely "get" MIDI and I read through the explaination and tried an installation in Liquid some time ago. Actually never got it to do anything. Could be the Behringer but I understand others have gotten it to work.

I know that Tim Koranda in LA has/had the Behringer working with his setup.
