I have some troubles when acquiring in "Best" quality from a Set-Top-Box (in PAL) to a LACIE external USB hard drive.
When I playback the file with VLC or Quicktime software, after one minute, the sound beecomes noisy and the video jerky. And AV synchronisation is not good.
I have also tried a bad performance 1Gbytes USB stick and I have also the same problem. In "Better" quality mode, I have anymore the problem.
I think of record speed problem with my hard drive because I already use the video signal with video acquisition PC card without any problem.
I would like to know the minimal rate in writing (in Mbytes/second) on the USB device in "Best"' quality because I tink of buying a 8Gbytes USB stick.
And I don't want to have an USB device that I will not be able to use correctly with Video Transfer.
Thanks in advance.
