I ran a search and came up empty, so I'll ask:  Has anyone used the Pinnacle Video Transfer device (PVT) with an Iomega ScreenPlay 500GB?  On the surface it seems like a perfect marriage, if the ScreenPlay can play the files created by the PVT ... I asked Iomega, but they have not specifically tested their drive with the PVT and could not tell me ... the specs say it plays MPEG-4 files, but with the various flavors that are available it's still not a sure thing ...

Do you have a ScreenPlay?

If so maybe someone can upload a test video for  you to try.

If not maybe you can get a test video and post it on Iomegas forum and see if someone could test it for you.

I'll try and make a test video, but it will be a while...I have to get my VTD back.

Tend to Doubt it. Iomega claims DIVX compliance and not h.264 MPEG-4 Compliance. Which is something I need to post on the Suggestion box for Pinnacle to build a companion product to the PVT. That Reads these files off of any USB  hard disk and plays them as does the ScreenPlay.
