I updated my PCTVTOGO to HAVA (much better support, wish I had known previously as I would not have bought the Pinnacle)
Anyway, HAVA firmware 152.115-32 works fine on the Pinnacle as does the 1.74 player (albeit a nag screen that the firmware is out of date)
I did update the firmware to the latest Hava firmware revision 262.289-32 but that broke the WIFI, it would never even attempt to connect to the access point (Ethernet still works ok and the PCTVTOGO SSID during initial setup still worked), I then found a 262.290-32 beta firmware (exactly the same problem as 262.289-32)
Reverting back to older Hava firmware 152.115-32 fixed the WIFI issue.
One thing to note if setting up the Pinnacle using the Hava software and Hava firmware 152.115-32 via wireless is that the Hava software will not detect the Pinnacle Box - reason for this..
Hava is looking for an access point with an SSID of HAVAMONSOONxxxx
but the Pinnacle has an SSID of PCTVTOGOxxxx (Hava firmware does not change this code, this also goes for the Telnet logon that will still prompt PCTVTOGO login:, irrelevant as no one knows the password but I thought Id mention it anyway)
To allow the HAVA software to detect your PCTVTOGO box using wireless setup then navigate to HKCU\Software\Monsoon Multimedia\HAVA\Setup Wizard and change the HAVASSID entry from HAVAMONSOON to PCTVTOGO. (this only works on 152.115-32 firmware - possibly older, but I have not tested - but as far as I can tell does not work with the latest 2.. series Hava firmware releases :-(
NB. After changing the SSID in the registry a PC reboot will be required before HAVA sees the Pinnacle via wireless setup.
