After downloading and unzipping the 12.0.1 files, installation program returns the following error:
“Error 1311. Source file not found:
c:\users\...\ApplData\local\Temp\temp2_Studio_US_for_ULTIMATE_12_0_1.zip/Studio/Data1
Verify that the file exists and that you can access it.
Retry Cancel”
Clicking on the “Retry” generates the same error. Clicking on “Cancel” generates “Rolling back action”.
I manually checked data1.cab and the requested file was there. I am getting fed up with being forced to do Beta testing for Studio 12 Ultimate for the last seven days. Your tech support is so incompetent. Their only solutions appear to be the following ones:
“DVD may be scratched”,
“Delete temp files”,
“Rename destination folder” and
“Install in SafeMode”
Nothing else. Come on. If you sell your product, provide Tech Support that will go beyond those generic responses that are disrespectful and irritating.
