How to stretch picture full screen

    Hi all,

Is there a way to stretch the picture to fill up my whole screen? I got a normal 22"" WideScreen Monitor, which should be close to the 16:9 ratio. However, PCTV shows me black borders and there seems to be no way to stretch the pic. The Ratio-option doesn't seem to help at all. MediaCenter allow alot of settings to set the picture to fill up the whole screen.

    Thanks for your help

    George

Same here, is anybody from Pinnacle listening to this forum?

All software from other vendors I tested before had this simple feature after one minute searching.

Re: How to stretch picture full screen (SOLVED)

I figured out how to do... the Setting in Display Properties of the video card has to match the aspect of a 22'' wide screen, in my case 1600 by 1200. I suppose 800 by 600 would work too... also any division where X/Y=1.33333333... for watching pctv full screen I lose only the 1680/1050, which is not a big issue. Bye

Re: How to stretch picture full screen (SOLVED)

I am having a similiar issue.  On my laptop i have 1200 x 800 resolution.  When using local connection the screen can go full screen.  However, when I switch to remote it cannot go to full screen.  I have also tried resolutions 1024 x 768 and 800 x 600.  Any advice on what to do try and let remote connection go full screen?  Maybe re-install the software or my video driver?

Re: How to stretch picture full screen

From what I can tell this seems to be a problem with the composite, s-video seems to look fine but composite has the black bars and squeezes the picture in fullscreen. I can stretch the screen out and get the picture somewhat ok but it's still kinda ugly. Nobody has a solution yet?

Well then, so I guess this isn't quite the place for answers, huh?

Re: How to stretch picture full screen

The way I stretch my pics out are as follows:

Highlight the frame>Toolbox>Video Effects>Left click Pan and Zoom

Click OK>Adjust slider to fill in frame>Click Add New Effedt.
