Studio 12 Platinum would not install.

Towards the end of installation process Pinnacle Installer returned the following message:

“Pinnacle Studio 12 Installer Information

Error 1935. An error occurred during the installation of assembly component.

{D2730D3F-3C41-5884-A01F-C8B3B9A1E18F}

HRESULT:  0x0073712

OK”

After I clicked on the OK (the only option), the installer stated “Rolling back action” and I got the message that my system was not changed.

I requested support from Pinnacle on their website and  was informed that it would take several business days. Next three days are not business days, so it will take approx.  a week since yesterday. Is there a phone number for Pionnacle that I could call to ask for help.

I have Vista Home Premium SP1, 2 Gig RAM.

Received autoresponder email promising answer in 24 hours with some links that do not apply to the problem I experienced.

Yuri from custhelp.com emailed me and advised to follow the link to a page, that has info about damages to installation disks and two different problems.

That was not the problem that I reported. My disks are not damaged. Advised Yuri that his “help” didn’t apply to my situation, and asked him to read what problem I reported,  or let somebody else try to help me with Studio 12 Platinum that would not install on computer with Vista.

Does anybody know  Pinnacle’s phone number where customer can call to ask for help?

I think I posted my problem in the wrong section here,  while it obviously belongs to the Installation Problems and Setup part of this forum. Sorry about my mistake. I am reposting my problem with installation there.
