Hello my name is Jake, I was just wanting to know if the studio 12 is compatible with windows vista seeing that 10 is that compatible unless you get the patch for it. Which I do have the patch of course. I would also like to know what makes it better, if it even is.

Studio 12 (and even 11) wer written from the start to run on Vista, whereas 10 was modified after it was written. Studio 11/12 should be more trouble free under Vista.

What makes 12 better? Depends what sort of editing you do, really. Probably best to watch the What's new in S12 videos on the Pinnacle website. if you just do SD, but like complex effects, then you might find the montage feature useful. You can now rotate videos with a rotate and advanced 2D plug-in

You mean on your Vista computer. Others have it installed.

Studio 12 has been installed in several Vista systems here in the office, I'm sure its been in a few back in the lab before they decided to slap the Vista certification logo on it.

You have an error 1935 problem with your installation, that's your problem.  Studio 11& 12 run well on Vista. 

That error is too stubborn to be dealt with. Seems to be related to .net or some other subcomponent of Windows.

I will do more testing and will post back.
