i've gone through all the suggested troubleshooting steps from the user guide
Have you already tried:
1) Exploring Prog Disk & Opening setup.exe File
2) Copying Prog Disk to a New folder on your Desktop & then Launching Windows in "Safe Mode" & then Opening setup.exe File, from the New Folder on your DeskTop.
ADDED - The Error Message is an Installshield Runtime Error / CRC (Cyclic Redundancy Check) Error.
This can be caused by a number of things. There was an FAQ, with a check list of things to do, on the old Forum. I've never been able to find it on this new Forum. There are plenty of Posts re: CRC Error.
Anyway, if the above 2 don't work, inspect Prog Disk for any blemishes or scratches. If yes, rinse under a running cold water tap & wipe gently with a non-lindt cloth from centre outwards & dry with new cloth, to remove any blemishes or shallow scratches. Actually you could in fact do this 1st.
