Hello, im new to the forums.. i emailed this question to support but all they told me to do was update my software... O_o anyway.

I was just wondering afew things about the EPG and how it worked. mostly, will it work considering the fact i have to use a Direct TV box.  i havent really tried recording yet, mostly cause i havent been able to get the EPG to work correctly either. when i first installed the tv center pro and tried to scan channels, it took it more than a hour, and it only got about 8 channels. which half where in spanish.im assuming those where the over air broadcast channels it was picking up..

 Now, considering i have to use a direct tv box, how would recording work considering technically im only viewing one channel, if it would work at all?
