How can I tune myself my own channel? Don't want to scan!

I want to use my DVB-S PCI card like a DVB-S box!

• I need to be able to swith off the LNB voltage,
• I want to give by myself the frequency, symbol rate, PID, polarization  etc...
• I don't want to use a scan software that can't find what I search

On all DVB-S box I can do that. I buy the pinnacle dual dvb-s PCI card and find no software to allow me to do that!

So I can't use this card with only mediacenter software. MediaCenter so

Do you have a solution or a software to tune myself my channel? or do I need to buy another PCI card -not a Pinnacle card ?

I have bought another DVBS PCI card from another company :Techno Trend, and with it , I have all the possibilities to choose if I use or not a LNB, give my frequency and symbol rate and the software find immediately the good transponder and the channel I want to use!

Why Pinnacle does'nt offer this possibility? We have it in any setupBox.

I have put my Pinnacle PCI card back in the Pinnacle package. No possibility to use it...for the moment I hope.

I think that, if I edit some file containing the informations about all transponders on different satellites, I could change some informations on one unused satellite to put my values and perhaps the Mediacenter-scan will, this time, find my transponder and the channel I want...?

I will try very soon and tell you my results...
