The kids computer is dying and now I will be able to purchase a replacement for my 2 year old machine.

 I am hoping v12 will be available in a 64 bit software.  Compatibity is great but I want full support for my core 2 quad machine.

Don't know anything, but I suspect we'll know within 1-2 weeks.

While 64bit would be nice, there really isn't much out there that supports it now. It would create a whole list of other "problems". I would not hold my breath for that. Multi thread/cpu useage would be a plus though.
