    Forum or Firefox3 beta 4?

Is it the forum software, or the fact that I'm using Firefox 3 beta 4 that the fonts keep jumping around in size?

If I asked this question on the Video Friends Forum I'd probably be told it's the fault of the "Kids that now run Pinnacle" or their "flawed business model" so I've given up expecting intelligent input from there. Policemen are also looking younger and Wagonwheels are getting smaller.

However, it may be Firefox 3.....

Jeff, I haven't seen any difference in the fonts.

Interesting links. I haven't posted on VFF in a while, so I wouldn't have seen those threads. I'm just wondering if the VFF forum has ever been down?

It happens sometimes, and I'm not mad at Pinnacle because of it.

(towbar:  You just wait until you've typed for 10 minutes, finding and linking in other threads, proofread, corrected, and polished a post--you hit the "post" button--and then realize that in the 2 minutes since you'd looked up your last webboard URL and the time that you hit the GO button, that the forum had completely stopped responding.  No, better yet, wait until the 2nd or 3rd time that this has happened.  THAT'LL get your goat, I guarantee you... Super Angry)

jjn - You're not accidentally doing a "ctrl + mouse scroll-wheel", are you?  That bounces fonts around pretty good in Firefox, 3 or under.  (same-same as ctrl + keypad +/-, for that matter, only much quicker).

There doesn't *seem* to be anything in this webboard's CSS that would in itself cause font resizing, anyhow.

I know the feeling well. Embarrassed

If my post is going to be more than I'm willing to lose, I copy it to a Word document prior to posting, since Word understands hyperlinks. That seems to resolve my anger if (when) the forum stops responding.

I guess I've learned to accept workarounds in the program, and the forum as well.......Stick out tongue

    Thanks Bittmann.

Although I can't think how it happened, I've not been able to reproduce the fault since I've known about CTRL Mousewheel Embarrassed

    Mousewheel I can understand.  Wink

I still don't get the "wagonwheel" reference, though.

Maybe this might explain it? Smile

Ah!  "I see," said the blind carpenter as he picked up his hammer and saw.

No, it's still doing it. I haven't touched the CTRL key all day, and there are random font size changes happening occasionally. Anyone else? (Firefox 3 is worth a try, BTW)
