display 1: nvidia geforce 7800 gtx oc, 256 mb , 1024x768 @ 75hz

display 2:  nvidia geforce 7800 gtx oc, 256 mb , 1600x1200 @ 75hz

Created 15 minute project from HG10 avchd, with titles and transitions.   

Output to WMV HDV 720/60p 1280x720.

Created 577 meg file that plays fine.

 Need to split up into 2 files, first file was 134 megs (3 minutes 52 seconds).  2nd file will be the rest.

I goto make movie, and create the same output type.

Pinnacle writes a few fames ( 15 of 6943) and just stalls.  CPU usage to 0 for Pinnacle.  Cancel button is the only button I can use.

I tried 2 different ways - editing the clip and moving the markers, and splitting the clip and deleting the 2nd half.

So it looks like I'd be wasting my time converting to .WMV to have an easier editing time.  I can't see why it won't do something so freaking simple.

This is the February Patch of Pinnacle.

Converting back to WMV 1440x1080 60i  looked promising, but stalled at 33 of 6943 frames.

I have rebooted my machine with no effect on the stalling.

why doesn't it like my pinnacle generated output file?

Trying another previously converted .WMV 1280x720, 60 fps, to Hi-Speed Upload NTSC (320x240, 300kbits, 29.97 fps) stalls at 24 of 476 frames.

 176x132, 100k bits/sec, 15 fps, stalls at 74 of 476.,

 Trying previous HG10 AVCHD f file, converting HDV 720/60p 1280x720.. no stalling.. 524 frames completed.

ULEAD 9 was successful in splitting the original project.  But it would only convert to 29.97 fps max.  no option for 60 fps.  I could have just used that originally in Pinnacle, but wanted to keep it 60 fps.
