I have a question about VC for Mac but there doesn't seem to be a forum dedicated to this product. Where should I post my question? Thanks

Wow, 141 views and no replies. Well, I've managed to read a few posts in various forums here where the posters had similar problems. That is video but no audio in preview mode. Those other posters said that the folks at the Pinnacle help desk said to install a patch which turns out to be for Leopard but causes problems for Tiger so I probably won't go that route. The other "fix" was to reinstall the VC for Mac software so I guess I'll try that. If I can't get audio from the DVR box I'll try it from the VCR. I'd hate to have to make a tape first, capture it on the Mac and then burn the results to DVD. That would seem kind of counter productive.

Karl you can post your question in the capture section. We don't have dedicated Mac and Windows sections here in the boards so you can pretty much ask away.

Well I reinstalled the video capture software but still could only get video during preview. However I decided to record something anyway and on playback I got both audio and video so I guess there's really nothing too wrong. I just can't preview the audio. I guess I can live with that.

man i had THE SAME issue...after goin' back and forth support -lol...wow interesting...i went to 'check for updates'...it took me to this link:

and i downloaded 1.0.1 ...and it updated even though it stated that i needed Leopard...i call it the sure favor of God...LOL...now i can preview audio and video...hope this helped...
