I have mentioned this before in passing, but if you are running Vista and are having issues during "Writing final file" during Make Movie...
- Open Task Manager
- Click Performance tab and then click on Resource Monitor
- Click on disk and then click on "write" to sort the column with the process that is writing the most bytes at the top.
If Studio is not listed at or near the top of the list, it is no longer writing the file to disc. That confirms that it is hung up. Click cancel and exit Studio.
My workaround is to disable the file indexer (control panel>Indexing Options). Click MODIFY and uncheck all options. Click OK to close control panel. Relaunch Studio and open your project. Ensure "always reencode movie" is NOT checked. Go to make movie and start the process again. For me,in most cases, Studio picks up with "writing final file" and then completes it successfully. When I remember, I make a habit out of doing this even before final encoding.
do you means right click on my computer then properties and device manager?because i dont see Task manager.
