How in the heck do I use this thing!

Ok - I have the TV for Mac HD stick, now what.  So far I am not impressed with the product at all, it was twice as expensive as the PC version and I can't even export the shows I am recording to my iPod w/out upgrading to the full version of EyeTV.   I am OK with doing that if someone can help me out a little.

There was no instruction manual so I finally fiddled with it enough to get all of my local channels in and the quality is great.  The problem is the shows I want to record and put on my iPod are all on DirecTV.   How do I get those channels to record on my Mac and/or the stick?  Another question, can you record items directly to the stick or do all shows record and reside on the hard drive?  Is there another guide out there that can point me in the right direction?  I only have a couple of days to decide if I want to keep this or return it to Circuit City for a refund.

Any assistance (in easy terms, I am a mac novice still) would be appreciated.

How did you manage to find any channels? I live right next to a transmitter and still can't get anything. I wish I could help you with your problem but I haven't been able to get past this even. Although there was some stuff on that at the knowledge database, I wouldn't recommend it since it didn't help me with anything at all so far :P

Anyway, wanna help me so I can try to help you? (if you didn't return it already, that is)
