I have the PCTV card installed in the computer.  The card works just fine on the analog channels (so far), but the QAM digital channels are upside down and backwards.  Picture on the QAM digital channels are great, just upside down and backwards.  I am using the beta software.  Is there a cure for this???

These are sometimes affected by using corrupted or outdated Video and/or chipset drivers. Please update your Video card and motherboard chipset drivers.

I also have upside down/mirrored digital channels.

As per other messages on this forum I have removed codecs, updated video drivers (using Intel Mobile 945 express) and have had no luck in fixing it.

Any pointers because if I can't fix it, my PCTV Nano may as well go back to the shop.

Let me add that I have now tried at least 3 other digital TV applications that appear to work with this Pinnacle Nano. All display the image the correct way around. TV Center Pro is the only one that has an issue.

Maybe rather than requiring driver upgrades it could the the TV Center Pro software?

I also have the same problem with my Ultrastick(880e).  I've update all of the video drivers and I'm running TVCenter Pro 4.98.

do you have special codecs or a codec pack installed?

Nothing out side of what came with the laptop.  Under Device Manager, sound, video controller, Video Codex, Properties.

The codex listed is iccvid.dll, indeoVideo ir32_32, ir41)32 iyuv_34, msh261, msh263 msrle.32, msyuv, tsbyuv

 
 

could you give more info about these codecs? Looks like maybe some other DVD / H.264 playbacksoftware has installed a codec which might cause this problem.

These are what exist as part of Windows XP SP3 instal.

Hello,I am having exactly the same problem. The analogue Tv is the correct way up and, despite the picture being superb, the digital channels are upside down an mirrored. Is there a solution to the problem? However, when I first installed the card I had about 5 minutes of digital channels the correct way up. Without changing any settings the TV changed to inverted and mirrored. Can the video codecs to use be selected? or other video codecs disbaled?

 I have installed the latest version of graphics card drivers, the latest pinnacle PCTV 310i drivers and the latest Pinnacle TVCentre Pro. I am running windwos XP SP3. 

 

Does anyone use/know any other  TV capture software? or have any recommendations?

The laptop I'm running on is a Dell Precision M4300 with a NVIDIA Quadro FX 360M. 

 What machines do you have.

I've installed the latest software for the 880e and the picture on the QAM digital channels are now in the correct orientation.  But now I do not have any audio on the QAM channels?  Before when the image was upside down and backwards, I had audio on these channels/

 

Any suggestions.
