Recording question q/ Mac HD Stick

I recently bought the Pinnacle PCTV for Mac HD Stick. Everything works GREAT. However, I am having some difficulty figuring a few things out.

The reason I purchased this item was in order to record video game footage from my TV. (I have a Vizio 37" HDTV) I'm not sure if the type of TV will affect what I'm trying to achieve. I was on the apple forums asking about would be the best choice for a video capture card; someone on that forum pointed me in Pinnacles direction. I have realized recently that perhaps I have the wrong product to record video games with. However, I was wondering if there was a way I could still make this work? I've tried S-video cables with no luck, I get "No Signal." I am under the impression that S-video is the only way I will be able to do it (if I'm able to do it) because of the corresponding S-video cables that came with the HD stick. I would rather keep the HD stick if I can figure out how to record my video game footage, but I know for a fact that the Pinnacle Dazzle, and Dazzle Platinum is more along the lines of what I'm looking for. But If the HD stick works in the way I'm wanting to, I would be much happier.

    Thanks for your time,

Care to share what you learned? And what was it exactly that you were trying to achieve? Moving this to a more appropriate section.

The only thing that I needed were S-Video/AV cables for PS3. Plug the AV cables into the corresponding inputs on your TV and insert the S-video into the S-video input. Change the output of the PS3 to S-video/AV and you're set. Now you are able to record video games, and live television. Exactly what I was trying to do.
