&lt;p&gt;The forum is running quite slow again. It has been ok for a couple of weeks, but when I click the next button, it takes 5 to 10 seconds to get the next posting. Normally it takes 1 to 2 seconds.&lt;/p&gt;

Don is also correct that the Disc meter maybe inaccurate at times. This should give you somewhat near the best quality that will fit on the disk. This is the setting I use for everything.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;When experimenting, it's economical to purchase a small quantity of DVD-RW disks. These can be used many times over and will save you from making many useless coasters.&lt;/P&gt;
