ScoreFitter rendering, What does it do ?

Howdy do,

Title may not be exactly right, but this is what I wanted to know.

I do understand how the rendering process "syncs" or is triggered with the photos/videos you

are using.

Does ScoreFitter generate a new song every time it is used ?

Or is there a "stock" source of the music phrases, then used over and over.

Reason for question:

PG Music Band In A Box has a song generator built into it. It does

create new music each time it is used.

Also an older Cubase I had years ago would create new music each time it was used.

Pinnacle Audio

So I am trying to put two songs on Pinnacle as background music for a video I am producing. Although I cannot get the songs onto Pinnacle. I drag them down onto the timeline but they never appear. Does it need in a special format? I think they are in AAC and MP4. Any suggestions? Thanks.

Transitions list?

Does anyone know or has a print out list of where exactly the transitions are in the different options. I keep forgetting where I found a particular transition and have to preview each one to find it. I know that the normal ones such as fade etc are in the first folder but the many others are not easy to locate if you don't remember where you found them in the first place. I am having to re-make a project as I have had troubles with export error and am working from a print out of the text timeline so hoping to be able to speed things up a bit. Hope someone out there can help. Thanks

Studio 11. Soundtrack jumping

Using windows Vista , The final burnt projects soundtrack made up of imported songs, continually jumps. Previewing the project prior to burning shows no faults. Have tried turning off everything that may be working in background,eg virus checkers etc., and used different blank disc brands,. Have tried different using slowest burn speed.

Pinnacle Studio 14, ultimate

I have windows xp, good computer

I worked on a project over a week now. Hours and hours of work. It was a total masterpiece and about 12 minutes long. I saved it constantly and opened successfully many times. This morning I added a few affects and saved. The program froze during saving and I had

to restart my computer (which i have done a few times before and the project never got lost). I now try to reopen my saved project but its empty. The project file is there but theres nothing inside!! It's blank and back to 0 minutes.

I'm seriously freaking out! I need this presentation for tonight and it will cost me my career if I cannot recover it. please help!! there are a few other files in the folder but instead of the pinnacle sympbol infront of them, they have a grey folder with a film stip on it. If I click

on them I get a message 'you don't have permission to open this file, contact file owner or administrator to obtain permission.) There are a few suuch files. Each contain a lot of files and folders when i view the content in properties. Is this my project? I really hope so!

Can someone please help me here? How do I recover my project? Step by step instructions please because my brain is fried right now from all the hard work and aggravation this 'constant freezing, problem causing'

program has caused me.

Multiple "Music Videos" on Same DVD, Studio 14 Ultimate Collection

same DVD. In the process I would use the menu system to make selections.

No Preview Video Studio 11 WinXP SP3

Could be SP3 upgrade has upset Studio - Anyway, making a dvd/video of family photos - they all show on timeline BUT preview stays black and does not work.

I tried going to make movie BUT this cuts off and closes down studio to the report error screen

Anyone any ideas - I am not certain BUT I think I did not have this problem before upgrading windows to SP3

Greetings. Before I tell you all about my plight, allow me to introduce myself. My name is Jason and I've recently gotten into the habit of making video game montages, so to speak. Thanks to the help of this handy little device called a Hauppauge HD PVR, I can create my videos in high-res HD.

Now here's the problem I'm having. Sometimes when I'm editing my video, there's no video for me to preview. I took at a look at a thread from a few months back about a user having a similar problem, and he was told that the footage just needs to be rendered. Is that right? And if it is, is there a way I can accelerate the rendering process, since most of my raw footage ends up being several hundred MBs?

Is this possible?

I have Pinnacle Studio 12. I would like to create a menu that will allow the user/audience to choose whether to listen to the movie with or without sound. I am creating a Highlight tape for my senior year of football. When I send out the the tapes to colleges I would like them to be able to choose whether they listen to the version with a song or without, but without making different DVD's for them all. I couldn't figure out how to do it.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Howdy folks:

Not new to computers. An old geek, but green in you folks

arena. Did couple hundred hours about 5 years ago on Studio 8

Using Studio 14 Ultimate collection I am.

Question is in the title. Not going to Use their logo's of course, but am building

some "Training" lessons for Yamaha Arranger keyboards. All volunteer it is

and the site is free with some of my other work on it.

However with the feedback I'm getting on preliminary Video's is fantastic.

Suggestions I do something commercial... NAW am retired..

I don't want this easily purloined and presented as someone else's.

I'm the talent and only build and narrate.

Again I have a unique logo for the site and would like it completely thru the

10 minute set of lessons.

frame rate problem

For some reason, the audio plays fine but the frame rate cannot keep up. One minute its playing fine, then I add another video and it starts to stuff up. Its not an individual video or anything and they were all recorded on the same camera.

Anyone know why this is happening and how to stop it?

No sound in Pinnacle Studio 12

I've been using Pinnacle Studio 12 for weeks without a problem. Suddenly, I have no sound. My sound works fine in every other program on my PC so it isn't a speaker/sound card/driver issue.

If I click Preview on a piece of Pinnacle's own music, that works fine. If I try to preview a song on my pc or insert that song/a video with music into Pinnacle, there's no sound.

The sound comes out fine when I make the movie and play it in another program, but doesn't work at all in the preview.

Any ideas? Thank you.

My project file has right picutre in thumnail view. But when I made a movie clip the picture disappeard and thumnail turned black. I wonder if someone can help me to correct this?

Okay i've tryied google, I've tryied Jeeves i'm really at a losse because anyone whos asked about it dosen't get a reply back

I have a Dazzle DVC 100

When I record in S-Video it looks sketchy and is in Black/White instead of colour -_- any fix for this?

Composite works fine it's colour but S-Video I would "Assume" would just give is a little extra clear image.

Layering in 12 Ultimate

How can I layer 2 or more videos to show at once? In other words transparent against each other. Only way I was able to so far is by using the Dissolve transition but that doesn't last long enough.

I saw a video on the web the guy layered multiple scenes and calls it Video Painting it looks very cool, sort of pop Andy Warhol effect.

Creating a Transparent Background in Rendered File

I am using Studio 12 and would like to create a video file with a transparent background. I will shoot the subject against a green screen and then want to make the green screen disappear so the background is completely transparent...the only thing that will be visible is the subject.

My plan is to use the video to liven up a website I have.

Is this possible with Studio 12?

I am about to start on a project that involves placing over 300 still shots {of different sizes} onto the time line.

I will be scanning these photos then enhancing them in photoshop. Should i scan them at the highest possible resolution then save them as a "large" file?.Will doing this ensure that there are no "black bars" on either side of the photo?

Any advise would be appreciated.

Studio 12, I can't render PIP frames

I've had Studio 12 since it was intro'd. Last year, I was able to render PIP w/no problem. This past week, I started projects in which I will again need PIP (Picture in Picture), but now I can't successfully render once the slider bar reaches the PIP point. I have tried a trial assembly of a very short movie of less than 1 minute w/a PIP frame. I've tried using both AVI & jpeg files for the PIP frame. The PIP frame is sucessfully viewed, saved & played in the EDIT mode, but when I go to MAKE MOVIE (saving to file format-burn later), the program will render right up to the point of the PIP frame, then come up with this same error, repeatedly:

export error: real time documents & settings\all users\application data\studio 12\data\render/test PIP c94b0192\dvd studiosequence\temp

I have UNloaded & REloaded Studio a couple times in the past yr. Other functions appear normal. I've rendered quite a few lengthy projects, even while this problem persists.

I believe all my equipment is up-to-date in my profile.

I appreciate any clues or feedback.

studio 12 causes computer to shut down

When I am working on my project, or opening my project, the computer suddenly shuts down (when I say shut down, I mean the screen just turns blank and the computer loses power) and

starts again. Can anyone help me with my problem?

when using my dazzle plus and i get a signal. The video comes out good on my tv and computer, but i see these random white lines that keeps moving up on my pc screen and tv. any help to what the problem is, why that would happen, and how to fix it would be really helpfull.

Menu on a burned DVD acts like a film clip.

I have downloaded a test version of Pinnacle Studio 12. I have made a film using many small film clips and I have made a menu using a standard menu supplied with the program. When I test the menu (before burning a DVD) it worked as I expected. I could select the wante chapter, move to next side and back. After testing I burned the video, quality set to 96% as my film was a bit too long to fit on the disc.

Then I put the DVD into my DVD player and sad down to watch it. The film started with the menu, but after 4 secunds (= the length of the menu) it jumped to chapter 1 of my film. After chapter 1 it continued to chapter 2 etc. In othe words the menu is inactive!

Am I doing something wrong? is the problem that the quality is set to 96%? do I have to change some setups? any suggestions???
