Hello, I recently bought a Dazzle DVD recorder and it works good except for two things.

1. Alright, for some reason the videos come out really jumpy. Like, it looks like everything is in fast forward. It records fine but the final video capture length could be like 10 minutes long and then it would make the video and it will shrink to like 4 or 5 mins in a super fast motion. I have a Dazzle to get my online gaming in cap for montages and things like that. I managed to upload about a 5 minute long video and it comes out like this: http://s17.photobucket.com/albums/b51/The_Prodigy/?action=view&current=VTS_01_1.flv - why is it going by so quick? (see how the video's a minute and a half long? It went from 4 or 5 minutes to a minute and a half?) Do I need to have certain system specifications or something?

2. I also have my splitters and everything plugged in fine, but it doesn't record sound, like you can tell from the video above. The yellows are in yellow, the whites are in white. But no sound is being recorded? Am I missing something?

Convert DVD video to .AVI

Does anyone know of a Windows-based converter/tool that will allow me to take unencrypted, user-created DVD video (currently on the DVD itself) and convert that into an .AVI file?
My client has home movie footage of her daughter singing and wants to put it onto a Web page, so it needs to be converted and scaled.
I have Pinnacle Studio 11 Ultimate, but it won't read the DVD video. If I can convert the file, Pinnacle will scale it and prepare it for Web use.

(By the way, I have no idea what "Pinnacle Mobile Media Converter" is, and there's nothing on Pinnacle's Web site, so I figured I might as well post my question here. If there's a better place for it, please let me know.)

Problems with Dazzle video creator plus.

I have a dazzle video creator plus and I installed it on our laptop. Our laptop didn't have enough capacity so I moved it to my desktop. When I plug in the dazzle cord it asks if I want to install driver software and I say yes. It searches for the driver software and can't find it so it asks me to insert the disc that came with it and it still can't find it. Please help!

Capturing VHS content to Pinnacle Studio?

I want to construct a birthday video to play on TV using Pinnacle Studio 10.6. I have no problem dealing with still photographs but am stuck with capturing VHS tape.

I have a device called Xpert DVD Maker USB 2.0 connected from a VCR to a PC running with Power Producer Gold 2 software to capture the old VHS tape content and it works well but it capturers it in Power Producer 2 format and I can not get it into Pinnacle Studio 10.6.

Can anyone help?

We bought the Dazzle DVDrecorder which comes with pinnacle Instant DVD Recorder install disk, the device (allows RCA from TV or camcorder to plug into it and then it USB's into your computer).

The 3 step directions say to put the disk in your computer and install, then plug the device in to PC and camcorder. I did all this but it will not work, my computer keeps telling me I need a driver. It came with nothing else.

Can anyone help me PLEASE...we have triplets about to turn 1 and I am trying to compile all their NICU time and first months on a DVD to play at their party. I am wanting to take all the 8mm video off our Sony Handycam and maybe throw in some still photos that I have on my PC and make one big DVD of their journey.

Converting Pinnacle program DVD to .wmv or .avi

I'm trying to upload 2 videos to different web sites and I'm getting the video but the audio is very scratchy. You can sometimes hear the music behind the scratching but it doesn't seem to have converted completely. Why am I doing wrong?

I've been trying to convert some dvd's to psp format and have been stuck with the ending video being 320x240 resolution. How can I get the program to use the full 480 pixel screen of the psp??

When i try to convert a dvd onto the pinnacle mobile media converter i do as the directions say then when i click start in one sec goes by on the target divice and then a window pops up say error-cannot convert file. Could use some help. thanks

Error Message - "Fatal Error"

Hi guys, i have a problem with mobile media converter, which up to now has worked a treat!

Whenever it tries to load up i get a message box with the title "Fatal Error", and the box states.. 'Process performance counter is disabled, so the requested operation cannot be performed', now Ive searched your forum for a similar thread and googled plenty, but im at a loss as to what this is and how to fix it?

Anyone else come accross this problem, or can anyone suggest what i could do?

I thought id ask here on the manufacturers forum as you guys would give me more sound advice than elsewhere.

Post here any modifications or mod questions you have made to your media converter.

Mention other alternatives you have used and why it didn't work, but keep it short.

ie. Neuros, to confusing for setup and record on short timing. compression too heavy.

Mods:

using Western digial USB 160GB hard drive, works great, still have not tried to record past the 2gb file size, just updated firmware

on the highest setting I get about 1gb per hour

Battery power, running 4 AA's in parallel with 4 more AA = 6v with 5000mah capacity, ran 3 hours with Western digital recording, and drawing power from the Media Converter's USB. WD shut down at 4.9vdc reading at the batts.

This may end up being quite a heavy system after integrating 12v for the bullet cam, and I have not tested the vibration on the HD while recording.

COMING SOON: USB video streaming over a wireless system. Bought the parts, still in the box, not test yet.

Does anyone know the wattage draw? of course without powering a USB unit.

i have a problem when i use the recording program fraps (if you dont know what it is google it) when i go to upload the video clips i have recorded it wont show any video just sound, any ideas

Converts DVD up until almost done, then freeze

It will convert my DVD all the way until the end... and then with just a few seconds remaining it stops. Nothing I do has worked. Any ideas?

Where are the Menus?

All the Pinnacle support documents refer to going to the "Help" menu to obtain my Passport number (so I can regenerate an activation key) I cannot for the life of me find the Help or any other Menu in the Mobile Media Converter application. Anybody know how to find it?
