&lt;P&gt;Just quickly tested the tool, and noticed that it produces &lt;STRONG&gt;H&lt;/STRONG&gt;P@HL MPEG2 files.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;When importing these in AL, I always get a red slice, no matter what T/L setting I use (e.g. HD 1920 * 1080, Uncomp. YUV or M2V). &lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Any way to have a T/L that would not require an extra transcoding when working with the files produced by AVCHD Upshift ?&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Other tips to optimize the workflow AVCHD -&amp;gt; AVCHDUpshift -&amp;gt; AL ?&lt;/P&gt;

Sony avchd is not the same as Panasonic avchd. There are different types and Panasonic headed off in their own direction with it.
