You do not need an activation code for HFX, just the serial number to unlock the Pro version. There is also an unlock key on that disc which will unlock all the HFX Pro effects.

Dave,

I also have a Big splash bundle that came with the Avid Liquid 7 pro The Big Splash package has three software within. HFX pro 6.0 and Title Deko Pro as well as Film look. During the registration I did not get any activation key code for HFX and when I try to check from within the application, I see Its says, No activation key entered. Do I have to have the activan key for HFX Pro 6.0?

Dave, No reply from support as of yet. I keep getting email referral to the new site. I'm very disappointed.

I have done all that, I know they are all wonderful people, specially Dave Stone, he was the first one who came to my aid. He is the one forwarded my inquiry's to the Tech support two days ago, but as of now no news from any of the tech guys to solve my problem.

But as I said, 1 day is short and you should have talked with Drake or Bertrand on this board. Also, the moderators are also very helpful.

I have been Avid loyal customer for more than eight years now. I own two Media composer 3,1.3 licenses plus bunch of other hardware and software's.

My only dissatisfaction with Avid, Poor handeling of Liquid pro line, they keep bouncing support and forum from one area to other.

Don't be so fast with your judgment against Avid.

You should contact the Pinnacle side of the support.You should contact Draske directly and send him a private message.

Filling a dispute with Ebay and Paypal in only 1 day is really too fast.

Pinnacle or Avid is not the worse compagny to do business with. You just have to talk to the right person.

There is really nice and helpful persons on this board. I am using Liquid for about 5 years and am satisfied with it.

Thomas is right. The old user need to contact us from the e-mail he used for registration (or at least it should be clear that the registered customer and the person contacting us are the same person). Then we will unregister the old user, and you should be able to register the same serial again.

He has done all that, He talked to some agent by the name Chris, But the result was very poor customer support from AVID. and the product still in his name.

If this is the way Avid operates, that's fine , I have advised my few colleges to stay away from any Pinnacle product.

I have also filed the dispute with Paypal and eBay to get my money back.

I have also HFX pro and Title Deko pro that came as a bundle, called Big Splash. Same problem with the registration serial numbers,

the serial numbers are still under the name of the old owner of the software.
