Wow... I have just posted a very similar post.. this is what is happening to me and I don't know why as like you everything on my timeline is Ok.. i've verified media..

Did you solve your issue? If so.. what was the prob?

Can't perform a backup of a project in 7.2

If I select the option to Back up project from the Manage Project menu the backup fails with the following errors:

I have no missing footage on the timeline and can preview the footage in the racks, timeline and directly from the m2v file but the actual files in the folder have a different name:

It would appear that the index have somehow got messed up. If I right click on the footage in the racks or the Project and select the Verify Imported Media, everything is reported as OK.

How can I fix this problem to allow a backup to complete.
