Right, you should have used the Import DVD titles feature. Am wondering what happened why you are saying that it's too late.

I did a clean install of S10.6 Vista install downloaded from Pinnacle. I then installed the 10.8 upgrade also from this site. I ran the sample video and it worked fine. I then looked for some video files on my computer and changed import box to ALL FILES. I tried to import a VOB file of a music video I previously ripped. the Import MPEG/VOB window came up. I was able to preview the video fine. I didn't want to import it, so I clicked CANCEL. The box would not cancel no matter what I did. I even tried to IMPORT the video to see if that would satisfy the program. No, it froze the program and the only way I could exit was to use TASK MANAGER.

To be safe, I rebooted Vista and then ran Studio. No matter what I do, that stupid Import MPEG/VOB window reappears and won't go away. It has made my install useless because it freezes the program. Can anyone help? I have some projects I need to edit.
