If number 2 doesn't work:

If I might amplify on that. Take the segment that you have applied the blurr effect, copy it and paste it to a new project. Try converting that to an AVI. If that works, you're in and you can bring it back into your project. If it doesn't, try his suggestion and split the copied clip into smaller bits and and see if you can make an AVI of that.

Excuse me Pinshel!

To be sure, then close Studio and go to the location to make sure the folder is gone. If it not manually delete it. Then empty your recycle bin.

Re: Blur effect not in sync or actioned

Sorry, perhaps someone else has an idea.

Not sure about this, but if that doesn't fix the problem, in the make movie settings, check 'always re-encode entire movie'. It might take awhile to re-encode.

If that doesn't do it, post back and I'm sure others will have more ideas.

I'm new to this so please bear with me, I am trying to edit a DVD where 2 people are walking and 1 person should be blurred out using the video effect.

Anyway to start off with with Nero 7 i exported the DVD to a MPG4 video and opened it in pinnacle studio 12 ultimate.

I proceeded to use the "studio plusRTFX" blur option using "key frames" and follwed the people walking down the road a frame at a time moving the blur to the correct place to hide someones face.

This all plays well when saved and played back.

However when i goto MAke movie, whatever option i select to export it to the blur is ethier way out of sync or the blur is just 1 box thst doesn't move at all.

This cannot be a lag problemw ith my PC as i have / quad core / 4GB RAM / ATI Radeon PRO 2600 512 PCIE / WinXP

Any help please?
