make sure you are capturing your videos on c drive and not another drive. Make sure you don't use your computer to surf the internet while capturing videos too.

I disagree Ramon. Both should be perfectly possible with a decent computer in this day and age. As long as the hard drive isn't a USB drive sharing a hub with the capture device or a NAS it should be fine.
