Is there a way to increase the displayed waveform size of an AVCHD video?

Often the form is too small to help in manual synching from a lavalier source--especially when the sound-on-film is at a low level.

This issue is widely discussed in "waveform"  threads from earlier version of Pinnacle. 

I'm wondering if the issue was resolved by Pinn 22.
