That makes sense. So if I wanted to use the NewBlue or builtin stabilization plugins / corrections I would want the preview set to Full. That way the plugins have the full data to work with for the calculations and tracking they are doing on the clip. If it not something like that the the "Fastest Playback" setting for plugins to use is fine.
