Hi,
I am still using Avid Studio as well since the ability to edit Cineform AVIs, which is what I mostly use, was never added to later versions of Pinnacle Studio. If I have Cineform AVI files I render them as Sony XDCAM EX 35Mbps files which I can import into Avid Studio. These seem to work quite smoothly while retaining most of the quality. Pinnacle Studio did add support for formats like FLV but Cineform AVI support never materialized.
