Try these steps.
Here are the instructions I came up with for this procedure:
1. Browse to: C:\users\username\AppData\Local\TEMP. Delete the contents of this folder.
2. Browse to: C:\Users\Public\Public Documents\Pinnacle\.
3. Locate the Content folder within the Pinnacle Folder.
4. Right-click on Content and select Properties.
5. In the General tab, uncheck the Read-only checkbox so that it is blank. Click Apply.
6. A Confirm Attribute Changes window will appear. Make sure that “Apply changes to this folder, subfolders and files” is selected. Click OK.
Try starting Avid Studio and see if the problem persists
