    I'm having the same problem with Studio 12.  It worked 9 months ago, now it gives me the invalid product ID message.  I will try to remove 12 and reload, but I'm not too confident because it's an upgrade from 9 and I'm running Vista.  Any thoughts?

     

    Update:  Removed 12 and all other Pinnacle components.  Used the regdelete program referenced above and used the "all programs"option.  Reloaded 12 (had to insert the 9 disk holding shift key at one point - just followed the on-screen directions) and it's working fine again.  I'll try the Instant DVD program next and see if it still works.
